Patna Jesuit Youth Commission in collaboration with JYMSA organized 5 days’ of “Youth Animation Training Program”. It was an initiative to have a combined program for North and Central zones. We had 22 participants: 12 Jesuit Scholastics, 2 Jesuit Priests, 8 youth. The program began on 4th May evening with the inauguration and icebreaking sessions. These sessions were conducted in an effective way by Bihar AICUF unit members.
We had the program in two parts. The First part was on 5th and 6th May 2025. It was conducted by Fr. Alwyn Vaz sj. The theme was “the Transformational Ignatian leadership for today”. Here the participants were made aware of the Ignatian pearls and the use of Ignatian spirituality for youth leadership today. The main focus of this part was ‘selfawareness’. The second part was from 7 th to 9th May 2025. The resource persons were Ms. Delphina George and Sch. Reuell Paul sj. In the second part the focus was to enhance the practical skills of the participants to interact and organize programs for the present-day youth. The second part was filled with various activities.
The beauty and richness of the program is the coming together of Jesuit scholastics and youth from central and North zones. This was very effective as we could know the reality from the Jesuit as well as modern youth perspectives.
