Graduation Day

05 May 2018: St. Xavier’s College of Management and Technology, Digha Ghat, Patna organized Graduation Day for its passing out batches of 2015-18 undergraduate Commerce, Management, Economics, Mass Communication and Computer Science students of Aryabhatta Knowledge University. Gracing this solemn occasion was Mr. Sharad Sagar, Founder & CEO of Dexterity Global – an international organization providing educational support and leadership training to millions of middle and high school children all over the world.

The programme started with the traditional lighting of the lamp. Principal of the College, (Dr) T Nishaant, SJ welcomed the chief guest, invited parents, and the graduating students. He addressed the graduates as ‘friends’ citing an example from the life of Jesus Christ where he, after he had completed his preaching ministry, called his disciples friends. The chief guest, Mr Sharad Sagar, wished the students the very best for their future and reminded them that being an alumni of St Xavier’s College is in itself a challenge to live up to. He exhorted the students to muster their courage and jump into the ocean of life with fortitude, be available for others while working on personal goals, and work towards a better society and a better nation. He reminded the students to live up to the Jesuit ideal of being men and women for others.

Ashwin James of BBA III, president of Students’ Cabinet, administered the student’s pledge to the passing out graduates.
