Tarumitra, Student’s Forum for Environment has an Inter-School Eco Seminar going on at St. Xavier’s Bokaro. Over 150 students and teachers from nine schools from Jharkhand are participating in the event. The students also had a poster and drawing competition along with clay modelling on the theme “I am the Mother Earth”.
Students also took out a rally, shouting slogans requesting to protect the Mother Earth. At the end of the event, the students began to address each other as cousins, brothers and sisters, over and above children of the same Mother Earth.
