9 pastors of Patna Province participated in the Assistancy convention of the JEPASA at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada. The theme of the convention was "Energising Pastoral Ministry with Ignatian Spirituality". In order to understand the aspirations of the people and their spirituality we had presentations by Prof. A. Francis on Spirituality of St. Vincent De Paul Society, Mr. A. V. Jose of Patna on Couples for Christ and Mr. Boby Jose on Charismatic Movement. Fr. Luke Rodrigues, S. J. of Bombay Province presented the Eco-Spirituality and the spirituality of CLC. Fr. Gerard Rodricks, S.J., the Assistancy coordinator of JEPASA presented the spirituality of Small Christian Communities. Fr. Jerry Rozario, S. J. made us aware of the importance of Ignatian Spirituality in our Pastoral ministry. Fr. Rocha Rosario, S. J. threw light on how to understand Spirituality in a multi-religious context. It was indeed a very enriching experience for all the 129 pastors from various provinces and regions of the Assistancy present at the convention.
