A talk on cancer awareness was organised by St. Xavier’s Colleges Patna on Tuesday, 28 February 2017 in the De Nobili Hall. Dr. Vinita Trivedi a Senior Consultant & Head Department of Radiation Oncology, Mahavir Cancer Sansthan, Patna was the resource person. While sharing her experiences Dr. Vinita pointed out the cure, control and symptoms of various types of cancer. She emphasised upon the ways to prevent cancer, which is through living a healthy and conscious life style. She further emphasised the need of routine medical examination essential for both males and females of various age groups. Dr. Vinita interacted with the students and clarified their queries. Fr. T. Nishaant SJ , Principal; Fr. Martin Poras S.J. Vice Principal and Fr. Raymond Cherubim S.J. CoE were also present on the occasion.
