CHENARI HAS A PLACE FOR PRAYER & WORSHIP

The newly built St. Mother Teresa’s Church at Chenari, Rohtas District, Bihar (under the diocese of Buxar) was blessed by Archbishop William D’Souza, SJ, Bishop Sebastian Kallupura and Bishop Cajetan Francis and inaugurated by Fr. Jose Vadassery, Provincial of Patna Jesuits, in the presence of IMS provincial, fathers, sisters and many faithful from various parishes on 01 April 2017 at 10.00 am. It began with a solemn procession to the church, blessing and followed by Eucharistic celebration during which the altar, tabernacle and sacred statues were consecrated. At the end of the Eucharist, the distinguished guests, pioneers of Chenari mission and the builders were felicitated by Fr. Ranjan. It concluded with a sumptuous meal for all those who were present. We congratulate Fr. Ranjan, Fr. Mathew and Br. Vetti and the SND sisters for their hard work in making this dream a reality. Needless to say that this would not have been possible without the support of ACIN, especially Ms. Veronique and Team.
